I run your Google Ads account end-to-end. That means strategy, keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, landing page review, conversion tracking setup, monthly reporting — everything. You give me a budget and a goal; I manage the account to hit it.

I’m a solo operator, not an agency with junior account managers. That means your account gets senior-level work from day one. After 12 years in Google Ads and £2M+ in direct ad spend, I know what works and what wastes money. I also know when an account is fine — I won’t upsell you into features you don’t need.

Why No Juniors

Junior account managers are trained to optimise for metrics, not profit. They adjust bids daily, add keywords by the thousand, and A/B test everything in sight. That generates activity reports that look impressive. Your actual ROAS stays flat.

I’m too old for that. I optimise for your bottom line. Some accounts need bid adjustments weekly; others need them once a quarter. Some need 20 keywords; others need 200. I do what the account actually needs, not what keeps me busy.

Growth PPC Partnership

I co-founded Growth PPC, a sister agency managing £20M+ in annual ad spend with a peak ROAS of 20.8x. Growth PPC handles scaled accounts for larger ecommerce and service businesses. All my freelance clients also get access to Growth PPC’s playbooks, research, and peer network — benefit from £20M-scale thinking without the £20M-scale fees.

How Pricing Works

My base rate is £300/month, which covers up to £3,000/month in ad spend management. If you’re spending more than that, I scale to 10% of ad spend. For example:

£2,000/month ad spend = £300/month fee £5,000/month ad spend = £500/month fee (10% of spend) £10,000/month ad spend = £1,000/month fee (10% of spend)

You pay Google directly for ads. I don’t take a margin on your spend; you get every penny into media buying. That’s the only way I’ll work — if my incentives aren’t aligned with yours, the relationship breaks.

How We Start

  1. Strategy call30 minutes to understand your business, current campaigns, goals, and budget. I’ll tell you upfront if Google Ads is the right fit for you right now.
  2. Audit (if needed)If you have existing campaigns, I’ll review them to spot tracking gaps, wasteful keywords, or structural issues. This is free if we move to ongoing management.
  3. Proposal & onboardingPlain-English proposal with timeline. We’ll migrate your account (if existing) or set up from scratch, install tracking, and build the first 30 days of campaigns.
  4. Monthly rhythmNew campaigns, bid adjustments, keyword adds, performance reporting. Call every 30 days to review results and plan the next month.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with businesses in County Durham?

Yes. I’m UK-based and work with clients nationwide. Most of my clients are remote or ecommerce. If you’re a local service business in Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Yarm, or anywhere else in County Durham, I can help — Google Ads doesn’t care about geography, only customer intent.

What if my ads aren't working? Can you fix them?

Maybe. If your issue is poor keyword targeting, bad ad copy, or tracking gaps, yes. If your landing page doesn’t convert, or your product isn’t competitive, Google Ads won’t fix that. I’ll tell you which is which and what you can actually control.

Can I pause or cancel anytime?

Yes. There’s no contract. If you want to stop, give me 30 days’ notice and I’ll hand over all account access and documentation.

What's your minimum ad spend?

I work with accounts from £1,500–£50,000+ per month. If you’re testing with £300/month budget, I’ll be honest about whether Google Ads makes sense yet.

Do you manage Bing Ads or other channels?

I’m Google Ads specialist. Bing I can do — it’s similar mechanically but smaller audience. Other channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) I can advise on, but I won’t manage them.

How often do you adjust campaigns?

It depends. If we’re testing new ad copy or keywords, weekly. Once campaigns are stable, maybe monthly. I measure progress in months, not days.
