Your Ads Are Running. But Something Feels Off.

You’re spending £2,000 a month on Google Ads, but you can’t tell if that’s smart or wasteful. You know some keywords are expensive. You suspect your landing pages might be the bottleneck. You’re not sure if your tracking is even correct. And you have no idea if you’re competing against yourself or if there’s duplicate effort hiding in your structure.

That’s not a mystery. That’s an audit.

What an Audit Covers

Why a One-Off Audit Makes Sense

Maybe you’re not ready for ongoing management. Maybe you want to fix things yourself first. Maybe you hired someone and want to validate their work. Whatever the reason, a fixed-scope audit gives you the facts without a long-term commitment. I review your account, find the biggest leaks, and write it up so you and your team can act on it.

How an Audit Works

  1. Grant read-only accessYou give me access to your Google Ads account. I dig into the structure, keywords, audiences, landing pages, and conversion tracking.
  2. Deep reviewI spend 6–10 hours depending on account size. I’m looking for structural issues, wasted keywords, tracking gaps, and missed optimisations.
  3. Written reportYou get a detailed breakdown: what’s working, what’s wasting money, and specific recommendations. Prioritised by impact.
  4. Optional callIf you want to walk through the findings together, we can schedule a call. Otherwise, the report stands alone.

No Obligation to Do Anything

You get the audit. You own the findings. Whether you act on them, hire someone to implement them, or shelve them is entirely up to you. This is information, not a sales pitch.

Common Findings

Most Halifax businesses I audit find similar patterns: keywords that should be paused (expensive, low-quality, bringing the wrong visitors); landing pages that don’t match ad intent; tracking that’s partially broken (so you don’t actually know which ads are converting); bid strategies that aren’t optimised for actual business goals; and duplicate campaigns competing against each other. An audit finds these fast.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

Depends on account size and complexity. Small accounts (1–5 campaigns): lower price. Large, messy accounts: higher. I’ll quote you a fixed price upfront before we start. Call to discuss your account scope and get a number.

How long does the audit take?

Usually 1–2 weeks from access to report, depending on my schedule. I’ll give you a timeline on the call.

Do I have to implement the recommendations?

No. You own the recommendations. Use them, ignore them, delegate them to someone else—your call.

Can you help me implement the findings?

Not as part of the audit. But if you want ongoing management or consulting to help execute the recommendations, that’s a separate conversation.

What if I find out my agency is doing things wrong?

That’s why you’re getting the audit—to find out. If your current agency is missing things, now you have evidence. What you do with that information is up to you.

Will an audit help me decide if I should hire someone?

Yes. Once you know what’s broken and what’s working, you can make a smarter decision about whether you need to hire, what they’d focus on, and what success looks like.
