You Have Someone Running Your Ads. But Is It Enough?

Maybe you have a junior account manager at an agency. Maybe you’ve got an in-house person who’s stretched thin. Maybe you’re running them yourself and you’re not sure if you’re doing it right.

Here’s the honest bit: you probably have some ad spend going somewhere, but you don’t know if you’re getting the most out of it.

I’m Stevie Morris. I work as a strategic advisor for businesses in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, and across the UK who already have PPC running. I don’t take over your account. I give you honest feedback, strategy, and direction — and if you want, I can work fractionally to help execute it.

The Gap Between Hands-Off and Done-for-You

You don’t always need someone running your ads full-time. But you definitely need senior eyes on them occasionally. I fill that gap: strategy without commitment.

What Fractional PPC Advisory Looks Like

Who Actually Needs an Advisor (Not Full Management)

You might be a bootstrapped ecommerce founder with a tight budget but solid instincts on Google Ads. You’re not getting big-agency service, but you’re making it work. Problem: you’ve hit a ceiling and don’t know what to do next.

Or you’re a Peterborough or Cambridgeshire home services business with a dedicated person managing ads, but they’re also juggling sales, operations, customer service. They’re doing their best, but they’re one person. You need senior oversight without hiring full-time.

Or you’re running campaigns in-house and you just want a sanity check: Am I doing this right? The answer is almost always ‘mostly, but here are three things you should fix.’

All of these fit the advisory model.

The Advisory Process

  1. Consultation call30 mins. You describe what’s running, what you’re trying to achieve, what’s working and what isn’t.
  2. AuditI spend 2–4 hours in your account. Campaigns, keywords, audiences, tracking, bid strategy, landing pages.
  3. Report and strategyYou get a clear, written recommendation. What to fix first, what to test, what to ignore, and why.
  4. Optional executionI can help build new campaigns, restructure keyword themes, set up tracking, or just be on call for bigger decisions.

Pricing and Commitment

Advisory starts from £300/month. That might be a one-time audit and a follow-up call. Or you might work with me fractionally for three hours a week, ongoing.

Each situation is different, so we’ll scope it properly on a call and I’ll give you a quote. No mystery fees. No surprise invoices.

Frequently asked questions

Is this different from hiring an agency?

Yes. An agency owns your account, runs everything, and you’re on their contract. With me, you (or your team) stay in control. I’m the second brain, not the CEO of your ads.

Can I use this for strategy training?

Absolutely. If you have an in-house team and you want them to learn how to think like a PPC expert, we can work together on that. I’ve trained teams at home services companies and ecommerce brands.

Do you work with agencies on their client accounts?

Sometimes, yes. If an agency wants a second opinion or white-label strategy support, I can do that. Give me a call.

What if my current person isn't doing well?

That’s a tough conversation, but honest. I’ll audit their work, give you straight feedback, and help you decide what to do next. Sometimes it’s training. Sometimes it’s a restructure. Sometimes it’s not working out.

Does advisory work for Cambridgeshire startups?

Yes. Especially if you’re bootstrapped or early-stage. You might not have £3,000/month for full management, but you can afford a few hours of strategic advice. That often unlocks growth.

Can we start with just an audit?

Yes. Audit, report, and then decide if you want ongoing work. Many people book an audit to validate whether they’re on the right track, then we go from there.
