Strategic Advice Without the Full Takeover

You’ve already got someone running your ads — in-house team, another agency, or you’re doing it yourself. You just want a senior second opinion. I audit your strategy, spot waste and missed opportunity, and work with you (or your team) to fix it. Fractional advisory, not full management.

Typical Consulting Work

Who Needs This

You hire a consultant when the person managing your ads doesn’t have the expertise to solve your specific problem, or when you want external validation before making a big spend shift. In Colne and Greater Manchester, I’ve worked with businesses in ecommerce, trades, and services who wanted to fix their ads without bringing in a full-time agency.

Honest Feedback, No Hidden Agenda

Sometimes your ads are working fine. If that’s true, I’ll tell you. I’m not here to upsell full management if strategic tweaks are enough. You get blunt, direct advice based on 12 years of hands-on Google Ads.

The Consulting Process

  1. Call and scopeTell me what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want to fix. I ask questions to understand your business model and goals.
  2. Deep auditI review your account, keywords, bids, creative, tracking, and performance data. Usually takes a few hours depending on account size.
  3. Strategy meetingI walk you through findings, explain the numbers, and share a clear roadmap of what to change and why.
  4. Follow-up coaching (optional)If you want, I help you or your team execute on those changes. Otherwise, you take the blueprint and run.

Pricing and Scope

Consulting work is priced based on scope. Most audits and strategy sessions sit in the range I quote on a call — there’s no fixed menu because your problem is unique. Starting anchor is from £300/month for ongoing fractional advisory; for one-off audits, I’ll give you a tailored quote after I scope.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a consultant and a full-management PPC agency?

A consultant gives you strategy and advice; you or your team execute. An agency does the execution for you. Consulting is cheaper and gives you control, but requires your team to have capacity and buy-in.

How often would I need a consultant?

Depends on your complexity and needs. Some clients call for quarterly strategy reviews. Others do a one-off audit and check in yearly. You tell me what you need.

Can you help if my current agency is underperforming?

Absolutely. An audit will show exactly what’s not working and why. Then you can decide whether to fix it with them or look for someone new.

I'm in Greater Manchester but handle ads for multiple locations. Can you help?

Yes. Multi-location campaigns are common in home services and ecommerce. I audit and build strategy for accounts at any scale, from Colne to nationwide.

What if I want to hire you full-time after the consulting?

Easy transition. The audit findings become the roadmap for ongoing management. We’d move to the full-management model with fees starting from £300/month.

Can you just review my copy and ads?

I can, but I usually recommend a full audit. Copy problems are often symptoms of strategy problems, and I want to get the diagnosis right.
