Why a PPC audit is different from an account review

Your account manager says things are fine. Maybe they are. Or maybe they’re not fine—they’re just not obviously broken. An audit digs deeper: conversion tracking gaps, landing page mismatches, keyword cannibalisation, bid strategy misalignment, competitor pressure you haven’t noticed. It’s a diagnostic, not a performance review.

What I audit

Biggleswade accounts often hide tracking problems

High CPCs mean small mistakes are expensive. In the commuter belt, you’re competing with London-level budgets. Most Biggleswade accounts I audit have at least one of these: broken conversion pixels, landing page redirects that kill tracking, audience mismatches, or keyword overlap that bleeds budget. An audit finds it before another month of waste.

The audit process

  1. You give access (day 1)You grant read-only access to your Google Ads and Google Analytics. Takes 10 minutes.
  2. We dig (days 2–5)We pull history, spot patterns, test tracking, map keywords to landing pages, check competitors’ visibility.
  3. I report (day 6–7)Written report + video walkthrough: what’s broken, what’s wasted, what’s working, and the fixes ranked by impact.
  4. Debrief call (optional)Walk through findings, answer questions, discuss next steps. No obligation to hire us—this is your audit.

You own the audit

The report is yours. I don’t lock it behind a contract or use it to pressure you into management. If you want to hand the findings to your existing person or another agency, that’s fine. If you want to hire us to implement, we can talk pricing then.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

Pricing depends on account size and complexity. Book a call and tell us what you’re spending—we’ll give you a quote on the spot. No surprises, no hidden fees.

What if the audit finds nothing wrong?

We’ll tell you. We’re honest enough to say if your account is solid. Sometimes the audit conclusion is: your ads are fine, your problem is somewhere else (landing page, offer, product). That’s valuable info.

How long does an audit take?

5–7 days from access to report. Most audits include a written report plus a video walkthrough of findings. If you want a debrief call, we schedule that after you’ve reviewed the report.

Is this audit specific to Biggleswade accounts?

Our audit process is the same everywhere, but Biggleswade context matters: we factor in commuter-belt CPCs, local competitor bidding, and the margin pressure that comes with high costs-per-click. I audit for your market.

What if I want you to fix what you find?

I can scope that separately. The audit is standalone. If you want implementation support or ongoing management after the audit, we’ll discuss pricing and terms on a call.

Do you do audits for accounts under £300/month spend?

Yes. Audits aren’t tied to our management minimum. A one-off diagnostic makes sense for smaller accounts or new businesses testing Google Ads.
