What a PPC audit actually uncovers

Most accounts have the same problems. Tracking that doesn’t track conversion paths. Broad match keywords that generate garbage clicks. Audiences that were set up once and never touched. Bid strategies on autopilot. Negative keywords that are missing. Ad copy that’s generic. An audit is a diagnostic. I go through your account, find where money is leaking, and tell you exactly what to fix and why.

A real audit covers

Audits are fixed scope. No ongoing commitment.

You get a report. Real findings, real priorities. What you do with it is up to you. Some clients use it to brief their existing agency. Some use it to decide whether to hire me long-term. Some fix things themselves. No pressure either way.

Who should get an audit

You have ads running but you’re not sure if they’re optimised. You switched agencies and want to know if the new setup is sound. You haven’t touched your account in months and want a reality check. You’re spending £1k–£20k/month and want to know if you’re wasting money. If any of that fits, an audit is the smart move.

How the audit works

  1. Book and briefBook a call, tell me about your business and what you’re trying to achieve. Give me access to your Google Ads account.
  2. I auditI spend 3–5 hours in your account, looking at structure, performance, tracking, and strategy. I document what I find.
  3. Report and debriefYou get a written report with findings and priorities. I walk you through it in a call. You’ll leave with clarity.
  4. Next steps (your call)Implement the fixes yourself, hire me to do it, or ignore it. It’s your business—I’ll support whatever you decide.

Audits aren't free, but they're worth it

A real audit takes time and expertise. Pricing depends on account size and complexity. Get in touch for a quote. Most audits are in the £500–£2,000 range, but every account is different. Compare that to finding and fixing even one major waste—it pays for itself in a month.

Frequently asked questions

Do you audit accounts for Yeovil businesses?

Yes. Yeovil, Dorset, anywhere in the UK. I work remote-first. You give me access to your Google Ads account, and I’ll audit it. We’ll sync up on a call to discuss findings and priorities.

How long does an audit take?

Usually 5–10 business days from your payment to my report. I spend 3–5 hours in the account, then write findings and schedule a debrief call.

What if you find nothing wrong?

Unlikely, but it happens. If your account is genuinely set up well, I’ll say so. You’ll still get the report and the confidence that you’re on the right track.

Can I hire you to fix the problems after the audit?

Yes. Some audit clients move into ongoing management with me. Others take the report and run with it themselves. Either is fine—the audit stands alone.

What if I disagree with your findings?

That’s fair. PPC has nuance, and different approaches work in different contexts. But I’ll be able to explain the reasoning. If you want to push back on anything, we’ll talk it through in the debrief call.
