Why audit?

Most Google Ads accounts leak money. Campaign structure is wrong, bids are set manually when they should be automated, landing pages don’t convert, tracking is broken so you don’t know what’s working. You can’t optimise what you can’t measure. An audit finds the leaks.

What I audit

Audit process

  1. Access and scopeYou give me read access to your Google Ads account (and Google Analytics if available). I outline what I’ll review.
  2. Deep analysis12–16 hours of work: I pull data, test ads, check landing pages, trace conversions. I document everything.
  3. Written reportExecutive summary of top issues, detailed findings by category (structure, bidding, tracking, etc.), and specific recommendations.
  4. Walkthrough callI walk you through the report, answer questions, and discuss priorities. Then it’s your call what to do.

No obligation

You get a report and recommendations. You don’t have to hire me. In fact, if the audit shows your account is running well, I’ll tell you that too — and you’ll have confidence in your spend.

Who needs an audit

You’ve been running ads for 6+ months and want to know if they’re efficient. You switched managers or platforms and need a baseline. You’re spending £2,000–£10,000/month and a 10% improvement would save real money. You’re in Alfreton, Sutton in Ashfield, Heanor, Belper, or elsewhere in Derbyshire and want expert eyes on what you’re doing.

Fixed scope and pricing

Audit scope and cost vary based on account size and complexity. I’ll give you a firm quote after a 15-minute kick-off call where you tell me campaign count, monthly spend, and what’s working/not working. Typical turnaround is 3–4 weeks.

Frequently asked questions

What if the audit finds big problems?

That’s the point. The report will list them with severity and priority. You can fix some yourself, hire someone for others, or ask me for a full-service proposal if you want hands-on help.

Do I need to give you full account access?

You give me read-only access to Google Ads and (ideally) Google Analytics. I don’t need edit rights to do a thorough audit.

How long is the report?

Depends on the account. Typically 15–25 pages: executive summary, category breakdowns, findings, and prioritised recommendations.

Can you audit an account in Alfreton if I'm based elsewhere?

Yes. I’m remote, UK-wide. Location doesn’t matter — I just need account access and a kick-off call.

What if we disagree with the recommendations?

Then we talk it through. Audit is about giving you options and data — not dictating what you must do. Some recommendations might not fit your business, budget, or goals.

How much can an audit typically save?

Depends on how broken the account is. I’ve seen audits identify waste of 20–40% of spend, or unlock underutilised campaigns with 3–5x ROI potential. Some accounts are fine and just need tweaks.
