Most Google Ads leak money

Broken tracking. Keywords that’ll never convert. Bid settings that overspend. Landing pages that don’t match the ad. Audience targeting that’s too broad or too narrow. These aren’t rare—they’re normal. And they cost real money.

What you get from an audit

I spend 2-4 hours looking at your account and your market. I produce a diagnostic report that tells you:

What’s working—the keywords, audiences, and ad angles that actually convert. These stay and scale. What’s wasted—the spend that’s not pulling its weight. What’s missing—the keywords you should be bidding on, the audiences you should be targeting, the tracking gaps that mean you don’t know what’s converting. And for each finding, I give you a clear recommendation: pause it, fix it, or test it.

No fluff. No jargon. Just what matters.

An audit covers

How an audit works

  1. Scope the BriefYou give me access to your Google Ads account and describe your business, goals, and current performance. 30 minutes.
  2. Deep AnalysisI spend 2-4 hours auditing your campaigns, comparing against your market, and identifying what’s working, what’s wasted, and what’s missing.
  3. Report & CallYou get a written report with findings and recommendations. We do a follow-up call to walk through it and answer questions.

What happens after the audit

That’s up to you. Some clients implement the recommendations themselves. Some share the report with their current agency or in-house team. Some hire me to do the work. No pressure. The audit stands alone—it’s diagnostic, not a sales pitch. My only goal is to give you a clear picture of your account.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

That depends on account size and complexity. A small ecommerce store in Andover might be different from a local service business with multiple campaigns. We quote after a quick call. No obligation to proceed.

Do I have to hire you after the audit?

No. You get a report and recommendations. You can implement it yourself, give it to another agency, or hire me to manage the account. It’s entirely your choice.

What if the audit finds nothing wrong?

Then I’ll tell you. Some accounts are genuinely well-built. In that case, the audit confirms you’re on the right track and maybe suggests some optimisations. Better than spending money on unnecessary fixes.

How long does an audit take?

Usually 1-2 weeks from scoping to report. If you need it faster, we can arrange that. If you need it slower, no problem.

Is there a minimum ad spend to audit?

Not really. I’ve audited accounts spending £200/month and accounts spending £50,000/month. If your ads are on, I can audit them. The insights might be smaller for tiny accounts, but the problems are usually the same.
