What a PPC audit actually finds

I review your Google Ads account end-to-end and identify three categories of waste: broken things (tracking that doesn’t work, conversion types you’re not measuring), inefficient things (keywords that attract unqualified leads, audiences that cost too much to convert), and untested things (ad copy angles you haven’t tried, landing pages you haven’t optimised).

Most accounts have at least 20–30% of spend going nowhere measurable. My job is to show you where it is, why it’s happening, and what to do about it.

A typical audit covers

Why Rochester and Kent accounts need an audit

The London commuter belt is expensive territory for paid search. Your CPCs are higher than most of the country, which means your waste hurts more.

A single misplaced keyword eating £100/week in bad leads might be tolerable in Manchester or Leeds. In Rochester, where costs are already inflated by London-level competition, that same £100/week is now 20–30% higher than it should be. Finding and fixing that waste matters.

How the audit process works

  1. You give me accessI’ll need read-only access to your Google Ads account and (ideally) your Google Analytics or conversion tracking system.
  2. I review everything3–5 hours of my time pulling data, looking for patterns, cross-checking tracking, reviewing creative and landing pages.
  3. You get a detailed reportWritten findings organised by priority, with specific recommendations. I’ll also record a call walking you through the key findings.
  4. Next steps are yoursImplement the fixes yourself, hire me to implement them, or use the report to brief your existing team. No strings attached.

Fixed scope, fixed price

You’ll get a written audit report and a walk-through call. I won’t try to upsell you into ongoing management or implementation work. If you want that, we’ll discuss it, but the audit stands alone.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a PPC audit cost?

Price depends on account size and complexity. We’ll discuss a quote on a call. It’s a fixed scope, fixed fee — you know what you’re paying upfront.

What if I implement the recommendations and my ads still aren't working?

Then we’ve learned something valuable: your issue isn’t account optimisation, it’s business fundamentals (offer, landing page, market demand). The audit shows us that, which is useful too.

How long does the full audit take?

You’ll have the report and a call within 5–7 working days of giving me access. Most audits take me 3–5 hours across a few days.

Do you audit for Rochester and Kent specifically?

Yes — location is key to understanding your market. I know the cost and competition differences in the London commuter belt and will flag those in my audit.

What if you find something that needs ongoing work?

I’ll call that out in the report. For example, if your conversion tracking is broken and will take 10+ hours to rebuild, I’ll say so and give you options: fix it yourself, hire me, or use the report to brief a developer.

Can I stay anonymous?

Yes — I won’t share your audit externally or use your account as a case study without explicit permission.
