What a PPC audit really finds

Most Google Ads accounts leak money. Not because they’re badly built — because they’re not watched closely enough.

You might be bidding on broad-match keywords that get 200 impressions and zero conversions. You might have conversion tracking set up wrong, so you’re optimising towards phantom data. You might have an audience that’s profitable but underfunded, and another that’s dead but still burning budget.

An audit finds these. I go through your account corner to corner — keywords, audiences, bid strategy, ad copy, landing pages, conversion tracking, account structure — and tell you exactly where the waste is.

An audit covers

Why this matters for Saltash businesses

Saltash is a solid market. You’ve got Plymouth and Torpoint nearby, Launceston inland, good catchment for trades and local ecommerce. But the market is competitive — you can’t afford to waste spend on poor keywords or bad targeting.

An audit gives you a roadmap: cut this waste, double down on this winner, test that idea. Then you execute and watch the profit climb.

How the audit process works

  1. You give accessI get read-only access to your Google Ads account. Takes two minutes. You stay in control the whole time.
  2. I review everythingDeep dive into keywords, audiences, bids, tracking, creatives. Takes one to two weeks depending on account size.
  3. I write a reportHere’s what you’re doing well. Here’s what’s wasting money. Here’s how to fix it (in priority order).
  4. Debrief call (optional)You can book a call to walk through the findings and ask questions. Or just read the report and go.

No sales pitch

I’m not auditing your account to sell you ongoing management. I’m auditing it to find waste. If the audit shows you’re running lean and don’t need me, I’ll say that. If it shows there’s opportunity and you want to hire me, great. Your call.

Frequently asked questions

How much is an audit?

Fixed scope, so I’ll quote you on a call after you tell me your account size and goals. No long-term commitment — pay for the audit, get the report, decide what to do next.

How long does an audit take?

Review takes one to two weeks depending on how many campaigns and keywords you have. The report typically takes another few days. Total turnaround is usually two to three weeks.

What exactly will I get?

A written report with findings (categorised by priority), a spreadsheet of keywords and performance issues, recommendations for fixes, and optional debrief call to discuss.

Does an audit work for Saltash local businesses?

Yes. I’ve audited accounts for trades (plumbers, roofers, electricians), service businesses, and ecommerce. If you’re running ads to reach Saltash, Plymouth, or beyond, an audit finds waste.

What if the audit shows I need major work?

The report will be honest. If your account needs rebuilding, I’ll tell you that. But I’ll also give you a roadmap for fixing it yourself. You’re not locked into hiring me to implement.

Can you access my account safely?

Yes. I ask for read-only access only. You can revoke it anytime. I don’t touch your account, don’t change anything, don’t see your sensitive data. Just review.
