What a PPC audit finds

You’re spending on Google Ads, but you’re not entirely sure if it’s working efficiently. An audit is a one-off diagnostic that identifies where money’s leaking, where tracking is broken, and where you’ve got untapped opportunity. No sales pitch. No lock-in. You get a detailed report with findings and recommendations — then you decide what to do.

What we cover in the audit

The audit process

  1. Initial call (15 mins)You tell me what you want audited — all campaigns, one campaign, a specific concern.
  2. Deep dive (3–5 business days)I review your account structure, data, landing pages, and performance. I compare against industry benchmarks and your own historical trends.
  3. Report deliveryYou get a detailed audit report with prioritised findings, problem areas, and recommended fixes. Clear, no jargon, actionable.
  4. Optional debrief callWalk through the findings together. No obligation to hire me — you own the decisions.

Why one-off audits matter

If your ads aren’t performing, the problem is almost always diagnostic — not a money problem, but a strategy or setup problem. An audit finds it. Then you can fix it yourself, hire someone, or decide it’s not worth the effort. Either way, you know.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

It depends on account complexity and what you want audited. I’ll give you a quote after our initial call. Typically £300–£1,200 for a thorough audit.

Do I have to hire you after the audit?

Absolutely not. An audit is standalone. You get the report, implement what makes sense, and move on. No pressure, no expectation.

How long does an audit take?

From call to report delivery: typically 1–2 weeks, depending on account size and how much data there is to review.

Is a Talbot Green or Gwent business different to audit than a national business?

The audit process is the same, but local context matters. If you’re targeting Gwent or Welsh audiences, I’ll benchmark against regional performance data and local market dynamics.

What if the audit finds that my ads are actually fine?

Then I’ll tell you that. Not every account needs a complete overhaul. If your structure is sound and your cost-per-result is reasonable, the recommendation might just be tweaks, not a rebuild.

Can you audit an agency's account to check their work?

Yes. If you want to know whether your current agency is doing a good job, an independent audit will tell you.
