Your Google Ads account is probably leaking money

Not because you’re doing something wrong — just because most accounts drift. A campaign that made sense six months ago still runs the same way. Audiences change, competitors change, your product changes. But your ads? They stay the same.

Meanwhile, money walks out the door. Bad keywords get clicks. Conversion tracking doesn’t work properly, so you can’t see what’s actually happening. Your audience targeting is too broad. Your budgets are split the wrong way.

An audit finds this. Not a cheerleading report full of jargon. A real diagnosis: here’s where your money’s going, here’s where it’s wasted, here’s what to actually fix.

What an audit covers

This is not a sales pitch

You get a full report with clear recommendations. Some of them, you can fix yourself. Others, you might hire me to handle. But the report is honest either way — not designed to sell you more work, just to show you what’s actually happening in your account.

The audit process

I’ll need read-only access to your Google Ads account and your analytics data (usually Google Analytics 4). Takes me about 4–6 hours to dig in properly.

You’ll get a written report — not a PowerPoint deck, just clear findings and recommendations prioritised by impact. Usually there’s low-hanging fruit (things you can fix immediately for quick wins) and bigger strategic changes (things that take longer but matter more).

If you want to discuss the findings or talk through implementation, we can set up a call. But there’s no obligation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

Depends on the size and complexity of your account. We’ll talk through what you need and I’ll give you a tailored quote. No hidden fees.

How long does an audit take?

Usually 4–6 hours to do the review properly. I’ll give you a clear timeline upfront. The report usually comes back within a week.

What if I want to hire you to fix the issues?

Great — we can talk about that. But there’s no obligation. Some clients just want the diagnosis and fix things themselves. That’s fine.

Do I need to give you full access to my account?

Read-only access, yes. You stay in control; you can revoke access anytime. I won’t make any changes, just review what’s there.

Will you audit accounts in Aberdare and Gwent?

Yes. I audit accounts across the UK, including Aberdare, nearby towns like Merthyr Tydfil and Ebbw Vale, and the wider Gwent area. I’m remote.

What if my account is only a few weeks old?

New accounts are trickier to audit — there’s not much data yet. But I can still review structure, setup, and strategy. We’ll talk about whether a full audit makes sense or if you should wait a bit for more data.
