Your Google Ads might look fine—but are they actually profitable?

Most businesses in County Durham running Google Ads have at least one silent killer: incomplete conversion tracking, bid strategies that auto-adjusted without scrutiny, keyword lists bloated with low-intent terms, or landing pages that don’t match the ad promise. These issues are invisible until someone who knows what to look for digs in. I’ve found £5k+ monthly waste hiding in accounts that felt like they were performing fine on the surface.

What a PPC audit covers

How audits work

You give me read-only access to your Google Ads account and GA4 (if you have it). I spend 3–5 hours reviewing your setup, running analysis, and documenting findings. I deliver a 20–30-page audit report with prioritised recommendations, estimated impact, and implementation roadmap. No surprises, no upsell—just honest diagnostic and a clear next-step plan.

This is about clarity, not commitment

You don’t have to act on any recommendations. The audit is yours to keep. If you want me to implement fixes or manage the account going forward, we can discuss that. But audit alone is fine—you might have someone in-house ready to execute, and a clear roadmap is all you need.

Audit timeline

  1. Brief callYou tell me your business, current performance, and main concerns. I ask clarifying questions and quote the work.

  3. Report + debriefI send the full audit document and schedule a call to walk through findings, answer questions, and discuss next steps.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

That depends on account complexity and scope. For a typical Newcastle business, expect £600–£2,000. I quote after our initial call based on size and history.

What if my account is a mess?

That’s exactly when an audit delivers value. A complex, tangled account often means the most opportunity to improve ROAS.

Do I need Google Analytics to do an audit?

GA4 helps (especially for conversion validation), but it’s not essential. I can audit using only Google Ads data and your ecommerce platform (Shopify, etc.) if that’s what you have.

Can you audit someone else's work objectively?

Yes. I audit without ego. If your current manager or agency is doing good work, I’ll say so. My job is honesty, not blame.

I'm based in South Shields or Gateshead—can you still audit?

Absolutely. I work across County Durham, Tyne and Wear, and the wider North East. Location doesn’t matter for account audit.

What if I disagree with your recommendations?

That’s fine. My job is to surface options and their estimated impact. You decide what to implement based on your business priorities.
