What's in a PPC audit

An audit is a snapshot: we log into your account, review how it’s built, trace your customer journey, and identify gaps and waste. The output is a clear, itemized report. What you do with it is your choice.

The audit covers

Sometimes your ads are fine.

Not every account audit finds waste. Sometimes the problem isn’t Google Ads — it’s the offer, market timing, or product. I’ll tell you if that’s what I see.

Why audit if you're in Ebbw Vale or Gwent?

If you’re a local business in the valleys (Ebbw Vale, Merthyr Tydfil, Newport, Caerphilly), an audit is a cheap way to check whether your spending is actually working. Competitive costs are lower here than in major cities, but if your tracking is broken or your keywords are scattered, you’ll waste that advantage. An audit catches that.

The audit process

  1. AccessYou give me read-only access to your Google Ads account (and Google Analytics if you have it).
  2. ReviewI spend a few hours analyzing your setup, performance, and tracking.
  3. ReportYou get a written audit with findings, priorities, and what to fix first.
  4. Debrief call (optional)We can hop on a call to walk through the report and answer questions. No pressure to implement anything.

What you'll get

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

Price depends on account complexity. Get a tailored quote on a call. No surprises — I’ll explain the scope before we start.

How long does an audit take?

The review itself takes 3–5 hours depending on account size. The report comes back within a week.

Do I have to hire you after the audit?

No. You get the report; you own the findings. Act on it yourself, hire someone, or do nothing. Zero obligation.

What if I'm in Ebbw Vale but have national campaigns?

Doesn’t matter. The audit reviews your entire account — local, regional, or national. If you have mixed campaigns, we look at all of it.

Will you recommend your own management services?

Maybe. If the audit finds that your main issue is neglect or resource constraints, and I think I can help, I’ll mention it. But the audit stands on its own — the recommendation isn’t automatic.

Can you audit an agency's work?

Yes. If you’re paying an agency and want an independent review, I can do that. Occasionally the audit finds that the agency is solid; sometimes it finds gaps. Either way, you get clarity.
