What a PPC audit finds

You’ve been running Google Ads for a few months (or years) and you don’t trust the numbers. Spend’s going up but conversions aren’t. Or you’re getting traffic but no sales. An audit digs into the numbers and tells you why. It’s a one-time report — no sales pitch, no obligation to hire me after.

Audits uncover

What you get

A written report. Lists of quick wins, medium fixes, and structural problems. An estimate of wasted spend we can likely recover. A call to walk through it and answer questions.

Why an independent audit matters

If someone else is running your ads, they have a vested interest in telling you things are fine. If you’re running them yourself, you’re too close to see the problems. An outside audit is your insurance policy. You’ll either feel confident about your current direction, or you’ll have a roadmap to fix it.

How the audit works

  1. You share accessYou give me read-only access to your Google Ads account and Analytics (or whatever conversion tracking you use).
  2. I dig inSpend 5–10 hours in your account. I review campaigns, keywords, targeting, bidding, tracking, and historical performance.
  3. Written reportYou get a detailed summary — what’s working, what’s broken, and specific next steps. Estimate of potential savings.
  4. Debrief call30–45 minutes to walk through the findings, answer questions, and discuss your options.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

I’ll quote you per account complexity. Most audits run £400–£800. I’ll tell you the price before you agree to it. Call and we’ll discuss.

Do you only audit if I hire you for management after?

No. This is a standalone service. You get the audit, the report, and a call. Whether you hire me after is up to you. Most don’t, and that’s fine.

I'm based in Barrow in Furness — can you audit a small budget?

Yes. Budget size doesn’t matter; problems are universal. Whether you’re spending £500/month or £5,000/month in Barrow or anywhere in Cumbria, I’ll audit the same way.

What if the audit finds nothing wrong?

That happens. You’ll get a report saying your setup is solid, your tracking is clean, and your spend is being used well. No obligation to do anything.

How long does the audit take?

Usually 2–3 weeks from the day you give me access to the day you get the report. I work to that timeline upfront.

Can I share the audit with my team or current agency?

Of course. The audit is yours. Do whatever you need with it — share it, use it to challenge your agency, or keep it private. Your call.
