What an audit finds

Most Google Ads accounts leak money. Sometimes it’s obvious—bad keywords, poor bid strategy, campaigns running with no tracking. Sometimes it’s subtle: audience overlap, wrong match types, conversion tracking counting the wrong thing.

An audit digs into all of it. I review your account structure, your keywords, your ad copy, your landing pages, and your tracking setup. Then I tell you exactly what’s working and what’s costing you money that could be recovered.

What I check in an audit

Honesty, not sales pitch

I’ll tell you if your account is run well. I’ll tell you if you don’t have a problem. Most audits find waste, but not always. You get the real story, not a list of things to scare you into hiring me.

Who should get an audit

You’re a business in Formby or Merseyside that’s been running Google Ads for a while. You’ve spent money, seen results (or not), but you’re not sure if you’re leaving money on the table. Maybe you ran ads in-house and paused them. Maybe an agency ran them and you fired them. Maybe you’re still paying someone but feel like something’s off.

An audit gives you clarity. You’ll know exactly what needs fixing, whether you do it yourself, hire someone new, or stay with who you have.

The audit process

  1. You give me accessRead-only access to your Google Ads account and Google Analytics (or whatever tracking you have). Takes 10 minutes to set up.
  2. I dig inTypically 5–7 hours of review, depending on account size. I look at everything.
  3. You get a reportDetailed findings, screenshots where needed, and specific recommendations prioritised by impact. Then a call to walk through it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

I quote based on account size and complexity. Small accounts (under £2k/month spend) typically run £400–£600. Larger ones scale up. Request an audit and we’ll discuss price for your situation.

How long does it take?

You’ll have the report within 5–7 business days of giving me access. Usually faster for small accounts.

What if you find major problems?

You’ll know exactly what they are and how to fix them. You can fix them yourself, hire someone, or ask me to do it. No pressure either way.

Do you need my Google Ads and Analytics access?

Yes, read-only access. You can revoke it anytime. I’ll never make changes without your say-so.

Can you audit old archived accounts?

Sometimes, but it depends. If the account data is intact, yes. We can check on a call.

Is the audit useful if I'm in Merseyside but don't know anything about Google Ads?

Absolutely. I write the report for business owners and marketers who aren’t PPC specialists. It’s jargon-free and actionable.
