Find out what you're actually paying for

Most businesses running Google Ads don’t know how much money is leaking out. Wasted spend on keywords that never convert. Audiences that look good on paper but aren’t buying. Tracking that’s broken or incomplete, so you can’t even tell what’s working. An audit finds these holes. I spend a day deep in your account, pull the data, and write a clear report: here’s what’s working, here’s what’s bleeding money, and here’s what to fix first.

What gets covered in a full audit

Why audit now, especially in Margate

Margate is in the London commuter belt, which means Google Ads CPCs are expensive. Every wasted click costs real money. Most Margate businesses haven’t optimised their accounts in months or years. An audit finds the quick wins — often worth 10–20% of your ad spend recovered just by fixing low-hanging fruit. In a high-CPC market, that’s significant.

What an audit is NOT

It’s not a sales pitch to hire me for management. It’s a diagnostic. You get a report, clear recommendations, and then you decide. Some businesses choose to fix things themselves. Others hire me. Both are fine.

Audit timeline and process

  1. Initial scoping call15 minutes. You give me account access and tell me what matters most to your business — revenue, leads, customer acquisition cost, whatever your KPI is.
  2. Deep auditI review your account structure, keywords, tracking, audience setup, creative performance, and spend allocation. I pull data and test assumptions.
  3. Written findings & recommendationsClear report with findings prioritised by impact. Easy-to-implement recommendations first. More complex strategic work second.
  4. Debrief call30 minutes to walk through the report, answer questions, and discuss what happens next — whether you fix it yourself or hire someone.

Audit pricing and scope

Audits are fixed-scope projects quoted on a call. I’ll ask about your account size (monthly ad spend, number of campaigns, complexity) and give you a clear price. No surprise invoices, no ongoing commitment. You get the report and you’re done — unless you want help implementing the recommendations.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to give you to run an audit?

Read access to your Google Ads account and optionally your Google Analytics or conversion tracking setup. That’s it. Takes 10 minutes to grant, and I’ll walk you through it on the scoping call.

How long does an audit take?

Scope and reporting typically take 5–7 days. The actual audit work is 4–6 hours. You’ll get a written report, and then we debrief on a call.

What if the audit finds nothing wrong?

Then I’ll tell you that. Honestly. Some accounts are well-structured; others are a mess. If yours is solid, I’ll say so and you don’t pay for an unnecessary consultation.

Can I use the audit recommendations myself, or do I need to hire you?

You can absolutely implement the recommendations yourself. Or you can hire me (or anyone else) to do the work. The audit is yours to use however you want.

How does an audit help if I'm in a competitive market like Margate?

In high-CPC markets like Margate, efficiency is everything. An audit often uncovers audience overlap, low-quality keywords, and tracking gaps that are costing you 10–20% of budget. Fixing those is the fastest way to improve your ROAS.

What's the next step after the audit?

You can implement recommendations yourself, hire me to manage the account long-term, hire me for fractional consulting, or hire someone else. Depends on your capacity and goals. I’ll give you options on the debrief call.
