Your Google Ads account is bleeding money. You just don't know where.

Most accounts I review have the same problems: keywords that shouldn’t be there, campaigns nobody’s touched in six months, ads that haven’t been tested since 2023, conversion tracking that’s broken or incomplete. That costs you. A focused audit finds it.

What the audit covers

Watford's a high-cost market. Waste is expensive.

CPCs in Watford and Hertfordshire are London-level because competition is fierce. Every wasted pound is a missed opportunity to bid on keywords that actually convert. The audit finds where you’re losing money and recommends fixes.

Typical findings

I usually find: keywords with 20+ clicks and zero conversions (kill them), ads that haven’t been updated in a year (test new copy), conversion tracking that’s incomplete (you’re measuring the wrong things), budget going to low-performing campaigns (reallocate it), negative keywords that should be in place but aren’t (you’re wasting spend on searches you shouldn’t be bidding on).

The audit process

  1. Account accessYou give me read-only access to your Google Ads account (and Google Analytics if applicable).
  2. Deep diveI spend time in your account—reviewing structure, keywords, performance data, tracking setup, everything.
  3. Findings reportYou get a detailed report with what I found, what’s costing you, and what to fix. Prioritised by impact.
  4. Optional next stepIf you want help implementing the fixes or ongoing management, we can discuss that. No obligation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

Quoted on a call, based on account size and complexity. I’ll give you a clear scope and price upfront. No surprises.

What if your audit doesn't find anything wrong?

Then your account’s probably in decent shape. I’m honest enough to tell you that. Sometimes ads are fine; the business is just facing market headwinds. But it’s rare—most accounts have at least a few fixable problems.

Can I implement the audit recommendations myself?

Absolutely. That’s the point of the audit—you get the roadmap, you decide whether to act on it. If you want help executing, I can do that too, but there’s no pressure.

How long does an audit take?

Depends on account size. A small account (a few campaigns) might take 5–7 hours of review. A large account could take two weeks. I’ll scope it upfront.

Should a Watford business always get an audit?

If you’re spending more than a few hundred pounds a month in Google Ads and you’re not sure the money’s being spent well, yes—an audit pays for itself by finding waste. Watford’s a competitive market; even small inefficiencies are expensive.

Can you audit accounts for ecommerce and home services?

Yes. Ecommerce audits I focus on feed strategy, product targeting, and ROAS. Home services I focus on lead quality, call tracking, and service-area performance. Different audit angles, same rigour.
