Your ads are running, but you're not sure if they're actually working

You’ve got a Google Ads account—maybe it’s been running for years, maybe it’s new. But you’ve got a nagging feeling something isn’t right. Spend is going somewhere. Leads are coming in (maybe). But you don’t have full visibility into what’s working, what’s a money pit, or whether your tracking is even accurate.

A proper audit finds the real problems: wasted budget on keywords that never convert, broken conversion tracking, campaigns that should be paused, audiences you’re missing entirely.

What we look for in a Google Ads audit

Audits are meant to surprise you

If the audit doesn’t uncover at least a few things you didn’t know, it’s not a real audit. Sometimes it’s good news (you’re already doing better than you thought). Sometimes it’s uncomfortable (tracking’s been broken for six months). Either way, you get clarity.

How an audit works

You give me access to your Google Ads account and analytics (or conversion tracking). I spend 4–8 hours deep in the data. I pull reports, test tracking, trace conversion paths, and document everything I find. Then we have a call where I walk you through the findings: what’s costing too much, what’s broken, what the priorities are if you want to fix it. You walk away with a clear picture of your account health and a roadmap of next steps.

Audit scope: what's included

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

Depends on account size and complexity. For most Selby and North Yorkshire businesses, you’re looking at a mid-range quote. I’ll give you a number after a quick call to scope what we’re looking at.

What do I get after the audit?

A documented report of findings and a strategy call where I walk you through the results. You get actionable recommendations—not vague consultant speak. And you own that report.

Does an audit mean I have to hire you for ongoing management?

No. Zero obligation. The audit is one-off. If you want help implementing recommendations, we can talk about that separately. But plenty of audits I do end with the client handling fixes themselves.

Can you do an audit on just one part of my account (like search only)?

Absolutely. If you only run search ads, or if you want to focus on a specific campaign or product line, I scope it down. Same rigorous audit, narrower focus.

How long does an audit take?

4–8 hours of analysis, depending on account size. Then we book a call to walk through findings. The whole thing is usually done in 1–2 weeks.

Is this valuable even if my ads seem fine?

Possibly not—but you won’t know unless you’ve had a senior set of eyes on it. Sometimes ‘seems fine’ is genuinely fine. Sometimes there’s 30% of budget you could save or redirect. Only way to know is to look.
