Your Google Ads account has leaks

Almost every account does. Keywords you’re paying for but nobody searches. Audiences you set up months ago and forgot about. Ads that haven’t changed since 2021. Conversion tracking that’s either wrong or not set up at all. You’re spending money, the account’s live, but you genuinely don’t know how much is being wasted. An audit finds those leaks. It’s not a commitment to hire me—it’s just clarity about what’s actually happening with your ads.

What an audit actually does

I don’t guess. I log into your account, spend time in it, and tell you exactly what I find: which keywords are expensive and low-intent, which campaigns should be restructured, whether your conversion tracking is actually working, what your competition is doing differently. Then I hand you a report with specific fixes in order of impact.

What I look at

The audit report

You get a written breakdown of what I found, ordered by impact—biggest money-wasters first. For each issue, I explain what’s wrong, why it matters, and how to fix it. Some fixes are quick (turn off 3 keywords). Some require thought (restructure your campaigns). Some need external help (fix your website’s conversion tracking). You decide what to do. No pressure to hire me. It’s just information.

The audit process

  1. Kick-off callYou give me access to your Google Ads account. We talk about your business, how you measure success, and any specific concerns you have.
  2. Deep analysisI spend a few hours in your account. I pull data, test keywords, check your conversion tracking, look at what competitors are doing.
  3. Report & debriefYou get a written report with findings and recommendations. We hop on a call to walk through it and answer your questions.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

That depends on the complexity of your account. I’ll give you a quote after our initial call, but I’ll be clear about the scope and cost upfront—no surprises.

Can you do an audit even if I'm not in Chapel en le Frith?

Absolutely. Location doesn’t matter for Google Ads audits—I can review any account, anywhere. I’ve done audits for home services, ecommerce, and trades across the UK.

Will you try to sell me on full management during the audit?

No. The audit is just an audit. If I find major problems, I’ll tell you. If you want help fixing them, we can talk about options. But the report is honest regardless.

How long does an audit take?

Typically a week or so from start to finish, depending on account complexity and how quickly you respond to setup. The actual audit work takes me a few hours; the report takes another few hours to write up properly.

What if I'm happy with my current agency but want a second opinion?

That’s a common reason for audits. I’ll review your account objectively, compare it to best practices and your market, and give you honest feedback. Whether you share it with your current team is your call.

Do you guarantee I'll save money?

I guarantee I’ll find issues. Whether those issues are costing you money depends on your specific situation. Some audits reveal £100s in easy wins. Some reveal that your account is actually fine, and the real problem is somewhere else. I’ll tell you the truth either way.
