What we look for

An audit is a diagnostic. We dig into your Google Ads account and find the stuff you’re probably missing: wasted budget, structural problems, tracking gaps, underperforming elements. We’re hunting for money.

This is forensic work—not philosophy, not ideas, just the facts of what’s going wrong and how much it’s costing you.

What the audit covers

  1. Account structureAre campaigns and ad groups organised logically? Are there duplicate campaigns? Orphaned keywords? Structural mess costs money in wasted impressions and mis-targeted bids.
  2. Keywords and negativesAre you bidding on rubbish keywords? Missing negative keywords? Broad match without proper safeguards? Crawley’s expensive—every wasted click hurts.
  3. Bid management and automationAre bids sensible? Is the bot helping or hurting? Is anyone reviewing underperformers? High-CPC markets need discipline here.
  4. Ad copy and extensionsAre your ads compelling? Are you using all available extensions? Is anyone testing new copy, or are the same ads running forever?
  5. Conversion trackingCan you even measure what matters? Missing events? Mis-tagged conversions? This is often where the biggest blind spot lives.
  6. Spend leaksAnything eating budget without return: mismatched landing pages, bid inflation on bad keywords, untested audiences, inefficient placements.

Why high-CPC markets need audits

Crawley’s click costs are high. When you’re paying premium prices for clicks, inefficiency gets expensive fast. A structural problem that wastes 10% of budget in a low-CPC market might cost you £100/month. In Crawley, it could be £500. An audit finds that waste.

What you get

No obligation

This is a one-off diagnostic. We do the audit, give you the report, and you decide what to do next. We don’t push you into a management contract. Some clients use the recommendations to brief their existing manager. Some use it to make a case for internal changes. Some hire us to implement the fixes. Your choice.

On scope and pricing

Audit scope depends on account size and complexity. Small accounts (£500–£2,000/month ad spend) take 4–6 hours. Large accounts (£10,000+/month) can take 2–3 days. I’ll give you a quote on a call after you describe your account. No surprises.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an audit take?

It depends on your account size. Small accounts: a week or so turnaround. Larger accounts: 2–3 weeks. I’ll give you a timeline when I scope it.

What if my account is small?

Scale doesn’t matter. A small account with structural problems is just as fixable as a large one. The audit methodology is the same; just the scope is smaller.

Do Crawley businesses have different audit needs?

Crawley’s expensive for clicks, so the audit always emphasizes efficiency: keyword quality, negative keywords, bid discipline, tracking accuracy. Higher CPCs mean higher stakes on getting the basics right.

What if nothing's obviously wrong?

Then we’ll tell you. Honest answer: sometimes accounts are actually reasonably well structured. We’re not here to justify an audit fee by inventing problems. If there are no major leaks, you’ll hear that too.

Can you audit someone else's account?

Yes. You’ll need to give us view access to the Google Ads account. No ability to change anything—just read-only.

What happens after the audit?

We hand you the report. You can implement recommendations yourself, hire us to implement them, or share them with your current manager. No follow-up required unless you ask for it.

Ready to uncover the waste?

Tell us about your account. I'll scope the audit, give you a price, and get to work finding the money.
