What an audit finds

Your Google Ads account has money leaking everywhere—tracking gaps, bid strategy that’s too loose, keywords that never convert, audience segments that are too broad. You don’t know where because nobody’s looked properly. That’s what an audit does.

We review your entire account structure, analyse your data (if it’s good), test your tracking, and write a report showing exactly what’s costing you money and how to fix it. It’s diagnostic—not ongoing management, not a retainer, just clarity. After 12 years running Google Ads across ecommerce and home services, I know exactly where to look and what’s usually broken.

What's inside an audit

Why audit matters in Reading

You’re in the London commuter belt, which means CPCs are high. London-level competition. National retailers bidding on the same keywords. If your account structure or bid strategy is loose, you’re bleeding budget. An audit finds that waste before it costs you another month of mismanagement. For home services and ecommerce, where margins are tight, that clarity usually pays for itself within weeks.

No obligation

This is a one-off diagnostic. You get the report. You decide what to do with it. You can hire me to implement the changes, hire someone else, or do it yourself. No contract, no follow-up pressure.

How the audit works

  1. Intake callWe understand your goals, margins, current team, and what you’re frustrated with. Access to your account is granted.
  2. Deep review3–5 days of analysis: structure, bidding, audiences, tracking, data quality, creative, keywords. We test everything.
  3. Report & debriefWritten findings with priority-ranked fixes. Video walkthrough or call to explain the findings and answer questions.

Audit scope & pricing

Cost depends on account size and complexity. I quote after the intake call—I need to see what we’re diagnosing. Most audits are £800–£2,000, but let’s talk about what you need first. No surprise invoices. If you decide to implement the findings with me, some of that audit fee rolls into the first month’s management.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an audit take?

Typically 3–5 days from intake to report delivery. Some accounts are quicker, some more complex. We’ll give you a timeline after the initial call.

What if my tracking is broken?

That’s one of the first things we find. The report will tell you exactly what’s missing, where it’s breaking, and how to fix it. If you want us to help fix it, that’s a separate conversation.

Can you audit an account I don't have admin access to?

No—we need full access to see tracking, conversion settings, audience config, everything. If you’re not the account owner, you’ll need to grant access.

What if the audit shows my account is actually fine?

That happens sometimes. But we’re honest—if everything’s optimised and running well, we’ll tell you. More often, there’s something fixable.

Do you audit accounts in Reading and Berkshire specifically, or just remote?

Entirely remote. I don’t need to be on-site. What I need is access to your Google Ads account and a conversation about your business goals.

What happens after the report—do you manage the account after?

Only if you want. Some clients hire me to implement the fixes; others take the report and run with it. Your choice. If you want ongoing management, we’d discuss a separate arrangement.
