That’s what I do. I work as a fractional consultant: reviewing your strategy, spotting what’s broken, and guiding your existing team (or confronting hard truths) without taking over the day-to-day. I’ve seen hundreds of accounts. I know what good looks like, and I know where most teams go wrong.
This model works best for businesses that already have someone managing ads but need validation, strategy correction, or a skills upgrade. Maybe your in-house marketer is competent but junior. Maybe your agency is large and your account is deprioritised. Maybe you suspect problems but don’t know where to look.
It doesn’t work if you need full account takeover — that’s the agency model (and I offer that too). It works if you want senior guidance, honest feedback, and the skills to improve things on your own.
Some consultants make money by keeping clients dependent on their advice. I do the opposite. If your team can solve a problem themselves, I’ll teach them how. If an issue requires ongoing hands-on work, I’ll be honest about that. If your ads are actually fine, I’ll tell you.
The South Wales market — Cardiff, Gwent, Caerphilly, Talbot Green, Newport — is competitive and tight. Your competitors might be spending twice what you do on ads but converting worse. Or they’ve figured out something you haven’t. As a consultant, my job is to make sure you’re not flying blind. I’ll tell you what your team is missing and what’s actually working.
Consulting pricing is bespoke based on scope. The anchor is from £300/month for ongoing advisory, but a deep audit might be priced differently. I’ll give you a tailored quote after the scope call.
That’s up to you. Some clients want a one-off audit and recommendations. Others do 3–6 months of ongoing coaching to upskill their team. We can structure it however makes sense.
Yes. If they’re making fundamental mistakes or deprioritising your account, I’ll say so. Honestly. But I also don’t come in looking for problems — if they’re doing solid work, I’ll say that too.
I work alongside them. I review their work, spot gaps, and coach your team (or theirs) on improvements. If you want me to take over completely, that’s a different model.
