You've already got someone. But do you have the right strategy?

Maybe you have an in-house marketer running ads. Maybe an agency, but you’re not sure the structure is right. Maybe you’re thinking about hiring someone but want expert eyes first. That’s where I come in. I’m a senior Google Ads strategist, not a service provider looking to replace your team. I’ll audit your account, challenge your assumptions, and give you a clear playbook to follow—whether you execute it yourself or someone else does.

Types of advisory work I do

I'm honest about what you already have

If your current setup is solid, I’ll say so. I don’t drum up unnecessary work. But if there’s inefficiency or missed opportunity, I’ll flag it and tell you exactly what it costs you.

Why a fractional strategist over a full-time hire

Hiring someone full-time means committing to salary, benefits, and time even when you don’t have the work to justify it. A fractional advisor gives you senior expertise when you need it, without the overhead. I’ve managed £2M+ in ad spend directly and worked with everything from £500/month accounts to six-figure quarterly spend.

How fractional advisory works

  1. Initial auditI review your current account and give you a diagnostic report on structure, performance, and gaps.
  2. Define the scopeWe decide together: Do you want a one-time strategy review, or 4–8 hours a month on ongoing campaigns?
  3. Execute and learnI work on your account, optimise what’s there, and hand over knowledge. No black box. You (or your team) knows exactly what I did and why.

My experience

I’ve been in Google Ads for 12 years. My speciality is ecommerce and home services. I’m a Google Partner and Microsoft Ads certified. My sister agency manages £20M+ at scale with a zero-junior model, which means I’m used to rigour and measurement at every level.

Frequently asked questions

What does fractional consulting cost?

It starts from £300/month. For that, you get advisory work on a flexible hour basis. If you need more intensive work—say, 8 hours a week on campaign builds—I’ll quote that separately based on scope. There’s no lock-in; you can adjust or pause anytime.

I'm in Swadlincote or nearby. Do you work locally?

I work remote across the UK and beyond. We’ll communicate by email, Slack, or call. That said, I can meet for coffee in Staffordshire if a deep strategic dive needs a face-to-face session.

Can you help if we're not sure our current ads are working?

Yes. That’s often the first thing I diagnose. We’ll look at your tracking, your funnel, your conversion data, and your margin math. Sometimes the ads are fine; it’s the offer or the funnel that’s the problem.

What's the difference between a consultant and an agency?

An agency runs your account end-to-end and employs a team. I’m an individual advisor. You still need someone to execute daily (your team, an agency, or a junior). I just make sure the strategy and execution are right.

How often will we talk?

Depends on what you book. For a one-time audit, it’s usually one call plus a written report. For fractional work, we typically touch base monthly and stay connected by Slack or email between calls.

Do I need to give you access to my Google Ads account?

For meaningful advice, yes. I’ll need read access at minimum. For ongoing fractional work, you might give me editing access to specific campaigns. You’re always in control; I can’t spend budget without your approval.

Not sure if you need advisory or full management?

Let's talk. I'll ask about your current setup and goals, and tell you honestly what's the best fit—whether that's a one-time audit, fractional hours, or a referral to someone else.
