What an audit finds

Most Google Ads accounts waste money. Not catastrophically — just slowly. Wrong bid strategies costing 20% extra. Negative keywords missing, so you’re bidding on junk. Conversion tracking that’s broken or incomplete, so you don’t actually know what converts. Campaign structure that confuses the algorithm.

An audit is a forensic look. I’ll pull your account data, review the setup, run the numbers, and tell you exactly where the inefficiency is.

What the audit covers

Honest findings

Some accounts are fine as they are. If yours is one of them, I’ll tell you. I’m not here to sell you work you don’t need. But most accounts have 15–30% waste — and if yours does, you’ll want to know.

How the audit works

You give me read access to your Google Ads account. I spend 2–3 hours digging into the data — campaigns, keywords, conversions, spend, conversion rates, the lot. Then I produce a written report flagging the problems, quantifying the impact where I can, and recommending fixes.

You get the report. You decide what to fix and who fixes it. No obligation to hire me.

The audit process

  1. You grant accessYou give me read-only access to your Google Ads account via Google Ads Manager.
  2. I review2–3 hours of forensic analysis — campaigns, keywords, conversions, tracking, efficiency.
  3. Written reportFindings, impact estimates, prioritised recommendations for fixing the issues.
  4. Review call30 minutes walking through the report and answering questions.

Why audit if you don't know what to fix?

Because most inefficiency isn’t obvious. Your ROAS might look okay, but there’s £500/month disappearing into bad keyword matches. Your campaigns might seem sensible, but they’re not segmented properly, so the algorithm can’t optimise. An audit shows you what’s actually happening, not what the dashboard surface says is happening.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an audit cost?

Price is quoted after we talk about your account size and history. From there, it’s a fixed scope — you get a written report and a review call.

Will you try to sell me ongoing management?

No. You’ll get honest findings. If management would help, I’ll say so; if your account is fine as is, that’s what the report will say.

How long does the audit take?

Access to report is typically 1–2 weeks. I prioritise based on demand, but there’s no rush — audits are thorough, not fast.

Can you audit an agency-managed account?

Yes. Sometimes you want a second opinion on whether your current agency is doing the work. An audit will tell you.

What if the audit finds major problems?

Then you know. The report will prioritise fixes — which problems to tackle first, which are lower priority. You decide whether to DIY, hire me, or stay as is.

Do you audit accounts outside Kidsgrove?

Yes. I work across the North West and Midlands remote, including all surrounding areas near Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent, Congleton, and Crewe.
