What a PPC audit reveals

Most Google Ads accounts leak money silently. Conversion tracking misses 20–40% of real sales. Bid strategies run on autopilot. Ad copy hasn’t been tested in months. A good audit finds the specific money you’re leaving on the table—and it costs far less than running a broken account for another quarter.

What gets audited

This is a diagnostic, not a commitment

You get a written report with findings and 3–5 quick wins you could implement yourself. No pitch. No upsell. You decide what to do next.

How audits work

You give me read access to your Google Ads account (and your analytics or Shopify if available). I spend 4–6 hours pulling performance data, testing your tracking, and documenting issues. Usually takes 5–7 working days. I then send a PDF report with findings, priorities, and a call if you want to discuss it.

Audit process from start to finish

  1. You grant accessRead-only access to Google Ads and your analytics. I sign an NDA; your data stays private.
  2. I audit for 4–6 hoursI review account setup, test conversion tracking, pull 12 months of performance, check bid strategy and audience alignment.
  3. PDF reportYou get a written report (10–15 pages) with findings, severity levels, and quick wins ranked by impact.
  4. Optional follow-upIf you want to discuss findings, we can book a 30-minute call. Otherwise, you’re done.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an audit take?

Usually 5–7 working days from when you grant access. I can expedite to 2–3 days for a fee.

What's the cost?

Price depends on account complexity—size of spend, number of campaigns, how much data I need to pull. Get a tailored quote on our call.

Will you push me to hire you for managed ads?

No. Some audits reveal that your ads are actually fine and you should just keep doing what you’re doing. I’ll tell you that honestly.

What if I'm running ads in Harrogate or nearby areas like Wetherby, Otley, or Leeds?

Geo-targeting audits are part of the standard scope. I’ll check if your location targeting, postcode exclusions, and bid adjustments match your actual customer geography.

Can I do anything with the report myself?

Absolutely. Some clients use the report to improve ads in-house. Some share it with their current agency. Some ask me to implement the recommendations. You own the report.

What if the audit shows I need help?

Then we can talk about managed Google Ads or fractional consulting. But that’s your choice, not a condition of the audit.
