Every account has money leaking.

You’re bidding on keywords no one’s searching. Your landing pages don’t match your ad copy. Conversion tracking is firing 60% of the time. Your bid strategy is chasing volume instead of efficiency.

These aren’t failures on your part. They’re blind spots. After 12 years auditing accounts, I find them in nearly every business — from £500/month budgets to £50,000/month. The waste varies, but it’s always there.

What the audit covers

Typical findings

I audited a Hull ecommerce account last quarter: £4,000/month spend, 47% of keywords had no conversions in 90 days, landing page was generic (didn’t match seasonal campaigns), tracking was losing 30% of transactions. Estimated waste: £1,200/month. Fixable in three weeks.

How an audit works

  1. Scoping call15 minutes. We talk through your budget, niche, what you’re already worried about.
  2. Account reviewI audit your Google Ads and conversion tracking setup. Seven to ten days.
  3. Audit reportWritten findings, video walkthrough, priority fixes ranked by impact. You decide what to action.

This is diagnostic, not a sales pitch.

I do audits for businesses considering outsourcing, for in-house teams wanting a reality check, and for people thinking about firing their agency. No obligation to hire me afterwards. If your ads are well-structured and tracking is solid, I’ll tell you that. If there’s work, I’ll explain it clearly and let you decide who does it or whether you do it at all.

Frequently asked questions

What does an audit actually cost?

Quoted per engagement based on account size and complexity. Range is typically £500–£2,000 depending on scope. Book a scoping call and I’ll give you a price before we start.

How long does it take to get the audit report?

Seven to ten working days from kickoff. I’ll send a written report plus a video walkthrough of the findings. You’ll have everything you need to decide next steps.

Can you guarantee specific savings?

No. I can tell you what waste I find and estimate the impact. Whether you actually fix it, and how long it takes to show results, depends on implementation and external factors (seasonality, competition, algorithm changes).

Do you audit accounts in East Yorkshire specifically?

Yes, and everywhere else in the UK. I know the local East Yorkshire market — Hull’s docks, retail in Beverley, the Hornsea tourism patterns — which helps me give context to your targeting and competitive positioning.

What if I'm not spending much yet, only £500/month?

Smaller budgets can have just as much waste percentage-wise. An audit might still be worth it if you’re curious or planning to scale. I’ll quote based on account complexity, not spend size.

Do you need access to my Google Ads account?

Yes. I need read access to your Google Ads and Google Analytics (or your conversion tracking setup). You can revoke access the moment I’m done. I never touch live campaigns during an audit.
