Who this is for

You already have a Google Ads person — internal, agency, or freelancer — but you want a second pair of eyes. Or you want senior strategic oversight without handing over day-to-day management. Consultancy works for businesses that want to own their accounts while tapping into 12 years of PPC experience.

What consultancy covers

When to bring in a consultant

Consultancy makes sense when you’re spending £5,000+ per month in ads, or when your current manager is junior, or when something feels off but you’re not sure what. It’s also useful when you’re scaling and need strategic input that goes beyond day-to-day babysitting.

How it works

We agree on a scope upfront — audits, monthly reviews, or specific campaign guidance — and a rate that reflects the depth of work. There’s no contract and no retainer lock-in. If we do one audit and you’re sorted, that’s fine. If you want ongoing monthly advice, we can build that.

I’ll ask to read your Google Ads, Search Console, and GA data. You share access, I review, and we talk through findings and next steps. I won’t make changes without your approval.

Why a second opinion matters

Even good PPC people can miss things. Budget allocation between campaigns, the cost of a poor-fit keyword match type, a landing page that’s misaligned with search intent — these slip through. Twelve years in the industry means I spot patterns fast. If your current person is solid, a consultant validates that and saves you money by catching drift early.

Frequently asked questions

How much does consultation cost?

Consultancy starts at £300/month and is tailored to what you need. A one-off audit might be a flat quote; ongoing monthly reviews scale with depth. Send me details of your spend and goal, and I’ll give you a proposal.

Do I need to give you access to my Google Ads account?

Yes, for the audit. You can set my email as a read-only user, and I review at account, campaign, and keyword level. For ongoing consultancy, read access is standard. I won’t make changes without your approval.

How often would we meet or talk?

It depends on your plan. A one-off audit is typically a single call after I’ve reviewed. For ongoing consultancy, monthly or quarterly reviews are common. You can reach out between calls with questions.

What if my current PPC person is doing a good job?

Perfect. An audit might confirm they’re on the right track, or spot 2–3 tweaks worth making. Either way, you’ll have reassurance that your account is in good shape, or specific fixes to discuss with your manager.

Can you help if I'm based in Berkhamsted or elsewhere in Buckinghamshire?

Yes, I work remotely across the UK. Location doesn’t matter as long as your Google Ads are running. I specialise in ecommerce and home services, so if that’s your niche, even better.

What's the difference between consultancy and a full audit?

An audit is a snapshot — I review and give you a report plus one call. Consultancy is ongoing oversight — you get regular reviews, strategic input on campaign decisions, and my availability between calls. Audit is one-time, consultancy is a retainer.
