Can you work with my current agency?

Rarely. Most agencies don’t like third-party audits for obvious reasons. But you can absolutely ask them to implement the recommendations I give you. If they push back hard, that tells you something.

Why would I hire you if you just tell me what to fix?

Three reasons: (1) you don’t have time to manage it yourself, (2) you don’t trust your current person to actually fix it, or (3) you want someone you can call for ad-hoc advice. Fractional support is popular for exactly this reason.
