When you already have someone running your ads but something feels off

Maybe your in-house team is doing their best but you’re not sure the strategy is right. Maybe you’ve got an agency but you’re not confident they really know what they’re doing. Maybe you want an experienced second pair of eyes before you scale.

That’s where consultancy comes in. I’m Stevie Morris — 12 years in Google Ads, Google Partner and Microsoft Ads certified, with £2M+ in ad spend managed directly. I can sit alongside your existing setup and give you an honest, senior assessment of what’s working, what isn’t, and what to do about it.

What PPC consultancy looks like in practice

I'll tell you if your ads are already good

Consultancy only works if it’s honest. If I look at your account and your current setup is solid, I’ll say so. I’m not looking to manufacture problems that don’t exist — I’m looking to give you an accurate picture, whatever that looks like.

East Yorkshire businesses benefit from having genuine expertise in the room

East Yorkshire spans a wide range of business types — from the logistics and port industries around the Humber to agricultural and rural businesses in the East Riding, to retail and professional services in Beverley and Bridlington. Google Ads strategy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and that matters whether your market is hyperlocal or national.

I work with businesses in England remotely, which means East Yorkshire companies get the same level of experience and attention as any client anywhere in the country.

How PPC consultancy typically works

  1. Initial consultationWe talk through your situation — what’s in place, what you’re trying to achieve, and where the frustrations are.
  2. Focused reviewDepending on what you need, I look at your account, your strategy, or your team’s approach and give you a clear picture of where things stand.
  3. RecommendationsYou get specific, actionable advice — not vague observations. I tell you what I’d change and why.
  4. Ongoing or one-offSome clients want a one-off session. Others want me involved on an ongoing basis. We work out what fits your situation.

Pricing

Consultancy starts from £300/month for ongoing engagements. For one-off sessions or bespoke advisory work, the fee depends on scope — the best way to get a figure is to have a call and talk through what you actually need.

I don’t charge for the initial conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work alongside my existing agency without replacing them?

Yes. Fractional consultancy is exactly that — senior input and oversight without taking over. I can review what your agency is doing, help you ask better questions, and make sure the strategy is sound, while they continue to handle the day-to-day management.

How is a PPC consultant different from a PPC agency?

An agency typically runs your campaigns for you. A consultant works alongside you or your existing team — advising on strategy, reviewing performance, and improving the thinking behind what’s being done. Sometimes you need done-for-you; sometimes you need an expert in the room.

I'm based in East Yorkshire — do you work remotely?

Yes, entirely remotely. East Yorkshire clients get the same access and quality as anyone else — calls, shared screens, written recommendations. Geography isn’t an issue.

What kind of businesses do you typically consult for?

Mainly ecommerce and D2C brands, and home services or trades businesses. But the fundamentals of good PPC strategy travel across industries — if you’re spending meaningfully on Google Ads and want better results, a conversation is always worthwhile.

How long does a typical consultancy engagement last?

It varies entirely by what you need. Some clients want a single session to review a proposal or diagnose a problem. Others bring me in on a retainer basis for ongoing strategic input. We’d work that out based on your situation.
