A PPC audit is a structured, one-off review of your Google Ads account — finding wasted spend, tracking failures, and structural problems you may not know exist.
Request a PPC auditA lot of PPC audits are superficial — a checklist run through your account in an hour, packaged up to justify a management retainer. Mine isn’t that.
I go through your account methodically: campaign structure, keyword match types, search term data, negative keyword lists, ad copy quality, bidding strategy, audience setup, and — critically — conversion tracking. Broken or misconfigured tracking is the single most common issue I find, and it makes every other decision in the account unreliable.
The output is a written report with clear, prioritised findings. No jargon. No vague recommendations. You’ll know exactly what’s wrong, why it matters, and what to do about it — whether you fix it yourself, ask your current agency to address it, or bring me in to do it.
An audit is a fixed-scope piece of work. At the end you get a report. You are not obligated to work with me further — and I won’t use the audit as a pretext to upsell you into something you don’t need. Some clients take the report and action it themselves. Some ask me to manage the fixes. Both are fine.
Advertising in Buckinghamshire means operating in one of England’s more expensive PPC environments. The county’s proximity to Greater London, and its overlap with neighbouring counties including Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Bedfordshire, means your ads are competing in a wide, well-funded auction.
In that context, structural inefficiencies are expensive. A poorly configured negative keyword list or a misconfigured bidding strategy that might cost £50/month in a lower-competition region can cost significantly more here. An audit surfaces those problems quickly.
Audit pricing is quoted on a call — it depends on account size and complexity. There’s no standard package because a five-campaign account needs different time investment than a fifty-campaign account. Call 07410 907 104 or request an audit below and I’ll give you a clear quote with no obligation.
No. I work from read-only access. Nothing in your account is touched during the audit. Any changes are your decision, made after you’ve seen the report.
Often more so — accounts that have been running a long time accumulate structural debt. Match type issues, redundant campaigns, and outdated negative lists compound over time. Long-running accounts frequently have the most to gain from a structured review.
An agency audit is almost always a sales document — designed to find problems that justify their management fee. Mine is independent. I have no financial interest in finding more problems than actually exist, and I’ll say so clearly if the account is in good shape.
The audit identifies tracking issues. Fixing them is a separate piece of work — I can quote for that, or you can take the findings to your developer or agency to action.
Yes. Shopping and PMax are included in a full account audit. Performance Max in particular has a lot of configuration detail that’s easy to get wrong, and it’s an area where I find significant issues regularly.
Yes — I’m Microsoft Ads certified and can audit Bing/Microsoft Ads accounts either alongside a Google Ads audit or as a standalone review.
